Study on Violence Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in Egypt

In 2018 Masahat for Sexual and Gender Diversity carried out a detailed study of violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity faced by LGBTQ+ people in Egypt, to monitor and document incidents of violence over the previous five years and to reach findings that reflect the real types and causes of the violence the community faces. The study involved 267 LGBTQ+ people.
